My creative carrier originated in old school ad design. Computers were just making their way into the industry, PhotoShop was still at version 1.1 and film was still the only way to convey an image to print. Now that the information age is in full swing I can really appreciate how new technology continues to enhanced my ability to create.

EXPERIENCE:

CREATIVE DIRECTOR • MoMoney Associates • Pensacola, Florida • March 1997 – August 2005
Responsible for oversight of art production, creative development and catalog marketing departments as well as quality assurance of a large screen-printing operation. MoMoney is a diverse promotional advertising company specializing in ASI merchandise as well as in house screen-printing and apparel decoration. Customers include: Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, Anheuser Busch, Sales Floto, Coca-Cola, Miller Brewing, Hooters, The Arthritis Foundation, YMCA and a host of other nationally recognized organizations.

ART DIRECTOR • RAM Enterprises • Orlando, Florida • Dec 1993 - March 1997
Responsible for Start up of new company art department and training of new staff members in
Graphic Design & Illustration on Macintosh computers using PhotoShop, FreeHand and Illustrator as well as a Unix based Sytex image setting system. I was also responsible for the research and acquisition of all these systems. RAM Enterprises (Now Pioneer RAM) is a decoration facility for ceramic and glass souvenirs. Our main clientele included: Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, Anheuser Busch, Planet Hollywood, Six Flags Theme Parks, and a host of other souvenir shops throughout the United States.

DESIGNER • Direct Mail Express • Daytona Beach, Florida • April 1992 - July 1992
Responsible for creating new ideas for direct mail marketing. Primary duties included ad design, typesetting and page layout using PageMaker, Illustrator, FreeHand, Quark Express and PhotoShop. Clientele mostly consisted of local automotive dealers, And Real-estate Brokers.

ART DIRECTOR (Actually I was a one man art department)
LaNier Associates Advertising • Ormond Beach, Florida • December 1991 - April 1992
Responsible for creation and design of all printed material; (brochures, newsletters, ads, etc.)
Other responsibilities included photography and corporate identity logo design as well as creating new ideas and writing copy for television and radio advertisements for local companies. I also directed and in some cases acted in the commercial shoots.

COMPUTER SUPPROT TECHNICIAN • Sun Atlantic Corporation • Orlando, Florida. May 1989 - November 1991
Responsible for configuration, installation and technical support of desktop publishing and studio production systems, Programs included Adobe Illustrator, PhotoShop, FreeHand PageMaker, Quark Express, Director, Screen Writer and Casting Call, I was also responsible for the creation of all in house advertising including display ads, direct mail marketing, and logo design for new and existing products. Primary clientele included Walt Disney World, MGM Studios, Universal Studios, Blue Wave Productions / The Mickey Mouse Club, The Post Group and an a plethora of other production companies.

COMPUTER TECHNICIAN  • Inacomp Computers • Altamonte Springs, Florida • August 1987 to March 1989 Responsible for Configuration, delivery, installation, and maintenance of rented computer equipment as well as 24 hour on sight technical support. Including Macintosh and Novel networks. I was also responsible for Maintaining and tracking inventory levels and producing end of month inventory reports.

UNITED STATES NAVY • September 1982 - December 1985 +2 years inactive reserves. Search and Rescue Swimmer (Honor Man Class 85030, 3.82) Boatswansmate Responsible for Supervision of a 32 Man Maintenance Crew as well as a 7-man bridge watch team. Other duties included Master helmsman for special operations and nuclear weapons security watch. {Honorable Discharge}

I attended institutions of higher learning with a singular objective in mind, to learn how to learn. I then created my own curriculum. So far my self-motivated educational endeavors have included: Desktop Publishing, Computer Graphic Design, Photography, Art History, Philosophy, Marketing, Advertising and Creative Writing.
